Volume 17, Issue 4

“Finally, a Victory!” On 17 April 2015, former employees of Radio Corporation of America, Taiwan received a favorable decision from the Taipei District Court in their long collective lawsuit against RCA and its foreign parent companies for health hazards caused by workplace toxic exposure. By then, the RCA workers’ struggle had already been one of longest and most far-reaching social-movement campaigns involving volunteers from various professional backgrounds, including STS. The RCA lawsuits, however, continue for years afterward, and are still ongoing as of late 2023. | Photo Cover Design: Awai|Credit: Hsiao-Hai Sung 宋小海
