As the responsibility of Editor-in-Chief of EASTS is seamlessly passed on to a new team, people have remarked that I am filled with joy. This is not because I have set down a heavy burden, but because I have great confidence in the future of the journal under the leadership of the new editorial team headed by Editor-in-Chief Jia-shin Chen.
