ST&HV is now accepting applications for the 2024 STS School
This STS School is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic community of scholars for an immersive research and training program in the field of Science and Technology Studies (STS). The intensive School will be a meeting point of interdisciplinary dialogue, spanning 4 days of seminars, workshops, keynotes and fieldtrips and combining a mix of elements designed to support scholars’ research projects and professional careers. Participants will have the chance to: investigate timely critical debates and perspectives; contribute to a rich scholarly program; and sharpen research and publication skills.
Singapore's vibrant setting offers a diverse group of scholars from wide-ranging disciplines and geographies the chance to collaborate with the editorial team of the journal Science, Technology, & Human Values, as well as invited instructors from universities in Singapore and elsewhere. Instructors are STS scholars with disciplinary backgrounds in Anthropology, Sociology, Integrative Studies, Design Studies, History, and other disciplines and fields who will be available to discuss your current and emerging research projects.
