The EASTS International Editorial Board meeting took place in conjunction with the 4S meeting in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 17 July 2024. We had over 20 editors and associates attending in person (Image 1). During the meeting, the Editor-in-Chief and associate editors provided updates on upcoming Special Issues and ongoing projects. We also reviewed the publishing report, which highlighted an increasing trend in submissions across various topics, fields, and regions, with a notable rise in articles focused on Southeast Asia.
